Sexuality
“An intellectual is a person who has
discovered something more interesting than
sex”
Aldous
Huxley

During
the last decades sexual preferences ran out of our bedrooms and entered the
political, medical and social agenda. Sexuality attracted a good amount of
publicity and controversy, although love and sexual practice have hardly changed
during the past 100 000 years. Proliferation and exposure of many alternative
sex practices created serious moral and medical problems along with growing
social polarization.
We would
like to encourage love and devotion between all couples and people in general.
Whatever your sexual choices are,
health and wellbeing shall work together with, and not be compromised for the
sake of pleasure and fun.
In order
to achieve the above objectives we shall focus on the following:
-
Promiscuous and careless sexual behavior is a major health
problem affecting many of us. Despite considerable community and government
efforts AIDS and other STD (sexually transmitted diseases) are claiming more
victims every year. Worldwide AIDS killed more than 40000000 people, about
7000 of them Australians. Another 25000 HIV positive people are quietly
awaiting their time – AIDS cure or vaccine are yet to be discovered.
In spite of these alarming statistics many
people have little or no respect for safe sex practices, while others think
that condoms offer total protection. It is worth remembering that the HIV
virus is 450 times smaller than the human sperm and 50 times thinner than
inherent flaws in latex condoms. The effectiveness of condoms for AIDS and
other STD prevention is much worse than for contraception. We believe that
healthy morals, sex education and simple medical tests offer better protection
than any physical or medical device. We shall provide free medical
tests to all couples willing to share their intimate desires in a safe and
civilized way. All other sexual encounters may cost you much more than you can
imagine.
-
We
respect freedom and diversity in all areas of life, and sex is no exception.
Whether predetermined by genes or other social factors, our sexual preferences
may have serious effects on our health and wellbeing. It is no secret that
homosexuality exposes all partners to much higher medical risks and other
social problems. The rate of AIDS and other venereal disease amongst gay men
is more than alarming. Gay men account for 2/3 of HIV infections, closely
followed by drug users. Despite the overwhelming medical evidence many doctors
and politicians are reluctant to highlight the dangers of gay sex for fear of
fuelling prejudice or being labeled homophobic. We have no intention to offer
such dangerous concession to “political correctness”. Just like we would like
to keep you away from drugs, alcohol and smoking, we shall make serious
efforts to warn and educate the public about the potential dangers of
homosexuality.
-
It
may not sound very wise, but according to statistics about 2/3 of us don’t
seem to be much worried about the HIV (and other STD) status of our partner
before having fun. Knowingly or not we may write off the rest of our or our
partner’s future and life for just a short-lived bodily pleasure. Our free
annual health checks shall help diagnose and hopefully cure many diseases
(incl. STD) which are often hard to detect in the early stages. This shall
prevent thousands of innocent (unknown) infections and also save many lives.
People with infectious STD’s shall be prescribed medical treatment and sexual
contacts shall be prohibited until successfully cured. Those who knowingly
infect their partner/s shall face lengthy jail terms.
-
We
are also concerned about the serious problems facing the sex industry.
While we have absolutely no intent to promote or power to abolish the oldest
profession, we would like to ensure that it is strictly regulated and not
exploited by criminal and other questionable interests. All “sex-workers”
shall have proper registration, medical insurance and undergo regular health
checks. All clients shall be invoiced (upon presentation of ID) and obliged to
declare their sexual health. While such invoice books may be kept
confidential, they shall be used to track infections if things go wrong.
