Strategy

“Peace is not merely a distant goal that we seek, but a means by which we arrive at that goal.”

                                                                       Martin Luther King Jr.

We all hope that party membership would be your pride and joy, and it wouldn’t impose any limitations on your private, family or social life. Besides your chosen level of involvement, which requires minimal time and no financial outlay, you will be free to enjoy life in and out of the party structure. No one will ask you to lie in front of tanks or endanger your life in any other way. Our “battlefields” are not streets or barricades - we aim at a peaceful transformation of our minds.

Our struggle is nothing more than competition aimed at superior voter-share, which one day will empower us to fulfil our ideals.

Our efforts will be focused (but not limited) on the following key areas and activities:

  1. Promoting our ideas to every section of the community – migrant or native, business or trade union, school or retirement village
  2. Publishing and production of peace-promoting materials
  3. Translations of our materials into other languages and international marketing of our movement
  4. Radio, TV, billboard, newspaper, Internet and other presence and advertising
  5. Integration and cooperation with similar organizations
  6. Strong presence and media exposure at popular community events
  7. Campaigning against arms and armed forces promotions such as arms exhibitions and shows, open days and other events.
  8. Attracting business sponsorship and endorsement of companies, products, etc.
  9. Campaign to stop the import, production and trade of weapons, war and violence promoting toys, movies, games and other media
  10. Establishing strong presence in government and non-government organizations.
  11. Fielding candidates for parliament, senate and other elections.
  12. Forming a government in the near future
